It is available in four versions, two different print formats with and without the PostScript feature. The HP Designjet T790 with PostScript has a built-in 160 GB hard disk. This can optionally be retrofitted to the other models. All devices have a USB 2.0 and an Ethernet interface that can be integrated into workgroups.
It is operated via a touchscreen and you can also print directly without a PC with a USB stick. All models have a single sheet feeder, a roll feeder and an automatic cutter as standard.
In addition to normal paper, bond paper, technical paper (for example transparent paper), foils, photo paper, etc. can also be processed. The HP DesignJet T790 can print the following formats without PostScript: DIN A4, DIN A3, DIN A2 and DIN A1, with a capacity of up to 72 pages per hour.
The two 44-inch devices also have the DIN A0 format and the print speed here is a lot higher at 80 pages per hour. In addition to plain paper, the media used in these printers include technical paper, photo paper, foils, and backlit foils.
These are processed via the single sheet feeder, two automatic roll feeders with automatic roll change and an automatic cutter. Of course, HP DesignJet T790 printers also have a USB 2.0 Hi-Speed and an Ethernet interface.
