The HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M477fdn is a multifunction printer for businesses and departments or workgroups that need a powerful color printer, scanner, copier, and fax. With 27 pages per minute, it works quite quickly thanks to many intelligent tools and is also fully automatic.
The Color LaserJet supports all modern printing standards such as mobile printing. And yet never lose sight of security with innovations like HP JetAdvantage Secure Print. This printer is ideally suited for these requirements.
The recommended print volume per month is 750 – 4,000 pages, the number of users between 3 and 10 people. The device not only provides excellent print quality that would be sufficient for a printing company.
27 pages per minute are no problem for the printer, in both color and black and white. The All-In-One has two paper cassettes, so you can print on different paper types without changing paper.
The integrated flatbed scanner can be supplied with templates directly or via the ADF (automatic document feeder) with 50 sheets. This works fully automatically, thanks to the duplex function also on both sides.
The HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M477fdn places the output in a 150-page output tray and can therefore be left to itself – whether printing, scanning or copying. Online, the printer maintains contact with its environment via cable or wireless in various ways.
It has USB ports for direct connection to a PC or to read data from a USB stick. It accesses a network through an Ethernet connection. Mobile printing is also no problem for the device.
It can be managed from anywhere using cloud services such as Google Cloud Print or HP ePrint. Or directly via Apple AirPrint, Mopria (Android), or via the app.
The HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M477fdn has its own firewall against outside attacks. It is also protected by an LDAP authentication system.
Instead, JetAdvantage Secure Print sends documents to the printer via a cloud solution, which are then placed in a separate queue.
To then print these documents, the user authenticates either with a password, with a card reader or with a QR code. A separate app on a smartphone is required to read the QR code.
