The DeskJet 3630, the 3720 has a modern white and also blue color scheme. The portable style is made possible by abandoning the traditional A4 flatbed scanner used by many multifunction printers.
Instead of placing records on a glass plate, you must manually feed each page with the scanner. That’s a minor effort, though, and it shouldn’t be too much of a hassle for periodic use around the home.
The final high quality text was excellent, it didn’t have the fluid layouts produced by the ideal inkjet printers, but will be perfectly adequate for basic documents such as letters and school reports.
Color images were also good, and the DeskJet 3720 even managed to produce very attractive photo prints when using glossy postcard paper.
