With the 4.3-inch touch screen you can not only configure the device, but also take all the shots or print, scan or copy without a PC. It comes with a large (8.5 x 14 inch) automatic document feeder, or ADF, as well as a legal-size scanner, and the automatic duplex printer will also flip legal-size sheets to print the other side.
Seriously, the HP PageWide Pro 577z is a fast printer. If you only print text, it screams, and that’s not too bad when printing business documents that are full of images and photos. And the print quality, especially text, looks almost the same as the typing quality, just like the leading laser printers.
In fact, I can’t find anything to complain about as long as I start with quality content. This HP PageWide Pro 577z printer comes right out of the box with two input sources, a 500-sheet front tray and an additional 50-sheet tray (or multi-purpose tray) that folds down from the left side of the chassis for a total of 550 sheets from two sources.
However, if that’s not enough, you can add two more 500-sheet paper trays, a drawer for storing supplies and a stand on wheels to move the superstructure around it. Ultimately, the total input capacity is 1,550 pieces from four sources: wide capacity and flexibility.
Like most HP printers these days, it comes with plenty of mobile connectivity features, including access to various cloud sites and Wireless Direct, the HP equivalent of Wi-Fi Direct, as well as Near-Field Communication, or NFC.
Aside from that, the HP PageWide Pro 577z is like most other HP printers, it provides access to hundreds of HP printer applications, providing content for all types of applications.
