The HP LaserJet Enterprise Flow MFP M634h is for workgroups of 5 to 15 people. The multifunctional A4 printer is designed for up to 10,000 pages per month and is a performance class below the Enterprise M600 series.
HP reports a sporadic peak load of up to 80,000 pages per month. Faxing is just an option. For this, a printed front is turned over and the next side is printed directly.
This results in up to 19 double-sided sheets per minute. From a standstill, the first (color) page is in the output tray after just under eight seconds.
From the energy-saving mode, the value increases slightly to about twelve seconds. A 550-sheet paper cassette and a manual feeder for up to 100 sheets are integrated from the factory.
Media up to 220 g/m² can be placed in the cassette or the additional compartment. However, double-sided printing (A4 or A5) is only possible up to 163 g/m².
However, HP LaserJet Enterprise Flow MFP M634h with special HP media can also reach 220 g/m². There are optional three additional paper cassettes for 550 sheets each.
In total, up to 2,300 sheets can be fed in the four cassettes and the bypass tray. The paper output can hold up to 250 sheets. Envelopes are ten and foils are 100 sheets.
The scan attachment uses a flatbed module with a CIS sensor and the typical resolution of 600 dpi for office printers.
The attached 100-sheet ADF (original feeder) is also equipped with its own canning line and can process a stack of paper at a speed of up to 38 sheets per minute.
There is no time delay with duplex scanning. Because the scanning speed is adjusted to the printing speed, there is no bottleneck here. Once the printer starts, up to 38 double-sided copies are ready.
The HP LaserJet Enterprise Flow MFP M634h printer is operated on the device itself via a color touchscreen with a diagonal of 20.3 cm.
On the connection side, only USB or integration into the network via Ethernet (up to one gigabit) is provided as standard.
A wifi module with bluetooth/nfc/wifi direct option is only available as an option. Even without WiFi, the Airprint standard (from Apple) and Mopria are supported over a network.
