The HP Deskjet 3750 is not the fastest printer. And the smear resistance of the ink after printing could also be improved. To do this, the device puts photos and images on paper with natural colors – but at a very high printing cost.
In addition, the Deskjet cannot print borderless photos and scanning is very cumbersome because there is no automatic document feeder or a glass plate.
With its 3700 series printers, HP wants to bring color accents into the apartment, so that it fits better in private households than in gloomy office environments – there is of course also a gray version of the inkjet.
However, the HP Deskjet 3750 has compact dimensions and, last but not least, very low purchase costs. But as always with such offers, the catch comes with maintenance: combination color cartridges mean that when you use an empty color you have to replace the entire cartridge, wasting the rest of the paint.
In addition, the cartridges are very affordable, which means that the printer is only interesting for occasional users. This can also be seen in the quiet printing speed. The printer does what the name promises when it comes to scanning. It takes 32 seconds for an A4 page of text and 48 seconds for an A4 photo.
The quality of the scanning is okay, but the operation is a complete disaster. If you want to scan documents and photos with the HP Deskjet 3750, you need three hands. The machine has neither a document feeder nor a glass plate on which the user can place the printed paper.
There is no small storage space for the templates, so the user has to hold the document in front of the feeder with both hands, after which a second person has to start the scanning or copying process by pressing a button or in the program.
HP Deskjet 3750 has WLAN connection, connecting the multifunction printer and router, saves cable clutter. Print photos and documents wirelessly from your smartphone, tablet or PC.
This works with the numerous HP apps. Good devices communicate via WLAN and Bluetooth with your PC, smartphone or tablet and well-equipped devices even offer extras such as card readers or USB ports for connecting cameras or USB sticks.
