The HP Deskjet Plus 4122 integrates very well into the home. It’s not the fastest, so plan more time for larger documents. The printer is a color inkjet printer with a decent print resolution and even a scanning module with an automatic feed.
A fax function is also available, but only with the accompanying smartphone app. A black cartridge and a combination of the color cartridge are used as consumables. If one color is all, the entire color cartridge must be replaced. Printing costs are expensive with regular replacement of the cartridges.
The printer takes its time when it comes to color printing. The print quality is very good. It is printed in both color and black and white. You can also select a quiet mode, which takes longer to print but is much quieter. The copy function is fast and easy to use.
Simply place the document to be copied on the flatboard scanner, choose whether you need a color or black and white copy and the HP Deskjet Plus 4122 printer gets to work. Of course you can also adjust the number of copies.
The scan function runs through the HP Smart app and is very easy to use. Just follow the instructions in the app.
You can save the documents like JPG, PDF, PNG, TIF and HEIF, select the file size and you will have your documents on your mobile phone, you can save them in Dropbox or send them to contact via WhatsApp, etc. You can print from your computer via a USB connection and wirelessly.
Setup is done via the HP Smart App + Dual-band Wi-Fi with self-setting. Via the app you have access to various accounts (Dropbox, Google Photos, Google Drive, etc.), from which you can then give the print order.
The HP Deskjet Plus 4122 is a visually appealing multifunction device. The network connection is via WLAN. Pure 5 GHz WLANs (802.11ac) are not supported.
