The biggest advantage of the HP Deskjet 3755 is its design. It finds a place even in the smallest space. You do have to take into account more space in the front, because the device needs it as a paper tray. The compact dimensions result in a scanning unit that takes some getting used to.
Only one sheet can be processed through the feeder, which must also be fed very correctly. Book scans are disappointing. It is therefore only suitable for rare applications.
All in all, more of a nice article than a classic printing, scanning and copying tool. In fact, the HP Deskjet 3755 takes up little space on the desk. This is mainly due to the reduced scanner.
The manufacturer calls the technology ‘scroll feed’. It is a kind of feed scanner, the reading line is fixed across the width of the device. This gives it the width of a DIN A4 sheet and at the same time saves the size of the usual glass surface.
Despite the small dimensions, HP has a small font display on the HP Deskjet 3755. For example, it shows the number of copies and symbols for the cartridge levels. There are eight buttons on the control panel, which in turn are only indicated by symbols.
Black and white and color copies have their own buttons – that’s good. In addition to the USB connection, the multifunction printer can be connected to the home network via WLAN and also has a WiFi Direct function. The device prints, scans and copies.
A fax is not scheduled. The narrow paper tray holds up to 60 sheets. HP kept its own paper tray. The floor space must be used for this.
For a multifunction ink printer, which is especially suited to photos from social networks, it’s surprising that it can’t produce borderless images.
When printing pure text, the HP Deskjet 3755 delivers decent results, albeit with minimal ink dots around the letters. The colors, on the other hand, are harmonious and remain natural, even with skin tones.

All in all, the HP Deskjet 3755’s paper feeder can only hold 60 sheets and there’s no dedicated photo paper tray. The print quality in office automation is good, the texts lack a bit of precision, but the ink does not bleed and the blacks remain very black and not light grey.
The graphics are quite well rendered and the texts remain legible, even on a colored background. the scanner is satisfied with a resolution of 600 x 600 px. However, it is quite fast, taking 10 seconds to scan an A4 document at 100 dpi.
The number of copies, the ink level, the quality of the Wi-Fi signal, or the activation of Wi-Fi direct. Each dedicated button has a diode that lets you quickly know if Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi Direct is activated, if web services are available, or if it’s possible to start a copy.
