The HP Officejet 7612 is a practical multifunctional device for users who occasionally want to print, scan or copy plans, tables or images in A3 format. This can be done in black and white as well as in color.
However, the device does not replace a photo printer, as the resolution is not yet close to their quality. With the existing functions and the additional fax function, the device certainly fulfills its purpose for all office-specific tasks in the home office or in smaller offices.
The quality of the printing of the simple shape, graphics and images is always very good. According to the manufacturer of HP, the HP Officejet 7612 achieves a print resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi in color when printed on special HP photo paper.
For text documents in black and white, a very good 600 x 1,200 dpi can be assumed. In standard mode, the device prints up to 15 pages in black and white and up to 8 pages in color per minute.
This is not the speed of most laser printers and many current inkjet printers, but if documents with a large number of pages do not need to be output continuously, it is more than sufficient. Incidentally, the device has both a duplex function and the automatic document feeder, which makes faxing, scanning and copying stacks of documents easier.
Unfortunately, there is only one paper tray for all sizes. The HP OfficeJet 7612 printer can be easily integrated into the home network, all devices can send data to the printer via WLAN.
